Certified Nurse Midwife - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group is currently looking for a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our team which currently includes six CNMs.
Our midwives are an integral part of the outpatient and inpatient team, caring for women throughout their life cycle, including adolescent care, routine gynecology care, perimenopausal and menopausal care.
This includes providing 24/7 midwifery care at two midwife friendly hospitals, facilitating Centering Pregnancy and rotating between the Newport News and Hampton offices.
We are looking for someone with a strong team spirt and a passion for birth.
Two years of full-scope midwifery experience is preferred.
However highly motivated new grads with strong labor and delivery experience will be considered.
In collaboration with our dedicated physicians, the essential job functions include the following:
Antepartum care Intrapartum care and OB/Gyn triage Postpartum care (inpatient and outpatient) Well-woman gynecology and family planning Documentation of care via EMR system TPMG is comprised of over 220 physicians and advanced practice clinicians in over 75 offices and is the largest physician-owned group on the Peninsula.
We are a short distance to bustling Virginia Beach or the beaches of Outer Banks, North Carolina and within easy reach of Williamsburg where you can enjoy Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, water sports on the James River, kayaking or camping in nearby parks, golfing at some of the best clubs or cycling through scenic trails.
